Cleveland ISD is excited to share an important update for the 2026-2027 school year.

Backpack Guidelines

🎒 Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Students may carry character and novelty backpacks.

🎒 Grades 6 through 12
Students are required to use clear or mesh backpacks.

These guidelines help us maintain a safe learning environment while allowing our youngest students to express their personalities through their backpacks.
