Cleveland ISD proudly celebrates Ashley Huckabay and Rosa Perez for representing the district among outstanding educators from across Region 4.

Cleveland ISD is proud to recognize two exceptional educators who recently represented the district at the Region 4 Teacher of the Year celebration.

Ashley Huckabay of Cleveland Ninth Grade Center earned the distinguished honor of being named a Region 4 Teacher of the Year Finalist. This recognition highlights Huckabay's commitment to educational excellence, dedication to her students, and positive impact within the Cleveland ISD community.

Joining Huckabay at the regional celebration was Rosa Perez of Eastside Elementary, Cleveland ISD's Elementary Teacher of the Year. Perez proudly represented the district's elementary educators and the passion, care, and commitment they bring to students each day.

The Region 4 Teacher of the Year program recognizes exceptional educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching, leadership, and service to students and their school communities. Being selected to represent Cleveland ISD at the regional level is a significant achievement and reflects the important work taking place in classrooms across the district.

"We are incredibly proud of Ms. Huckabay and Ms. Perez for representing Cleveland ISD with such excellence," said Chief Academic Officer, Mr. Christopher Walker. "Their dedication to students and commitment to their profession reflect the very best of our district. We celebrate their accomplishments and thank them for the difference they make each day."

Huckabay's selection as a Region 4 finalist is an especially exciting achievement for Cleveland ISD and an opportunity to celebrate the caliber of educators serving students throughout the district.
