Cleveland Independent School District will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Central Administration Building to inform the public of the district’s intent to apply for federal funding through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for the 2025–2026 school year.
During the hearing, district leaders will present and discuss the proposed application for federal funds under the following ESSA programs:
Title I, Part A – Improving Basic Programs
Title II, Part A – Supporting Effective Instruction
Title III, Part A – English Language Acquisition
Title IV, Part A – Student Support and Academic Enrichment
Title V, Part B – Rural and Low-Income School Program (if applicable)
These programs are designed to provide supplemental resources to support low-income students, enhance instructional quality, expand services for English learners, and increase access to a well-rounded education.
Community members, parents, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate in this important discussion. The regular Cleveland ISD Board of Trustees meeting will follow the public hearing.
