To recognize top area principals for their hard work, Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union holds a Principal’s Month recognition program. With over 600 nominations, only 4 are chosen. The public votes on the principal to be awarded "Principal of the Year". Dr. Miller was selected as a finalist and received a $500 honorarium.
