Cleveland ISD Substitute Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Substitute Teacher with Cleveland ISD.  As a Substitute, you play a vital role in student's learning in the event that a teacher is absent. If you have a passion for working with children, we encourage you to apply!

How do I Become A Substitute?

  1. Complete and submit an online substitute application.

  2. Please be sure to have your documents (High School Diploma, GED, or Official College Transcripts) uploaded to your application and references submitted. 

  3. Applicants with a complete application, if selected will be contacted by Human Resources for final processing.
