BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

The Cleveland ISD Compensation Package is designed to ensure each component of our program promotes an atmosphere that
attracts, motivates and retains high performing employees.   Throughout this portal you will find information about your
compensation package, duty schedules, benefits and even some videos to help you better understand your compensation.  
Cleveland ISD offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
  • Competitive starting salary of $57,500 for the 2021-2022 school year
  • Fully paid basic life insurance
  • Medical plan administered through the Teacher Retirement System of Texas
  • Stipends for difficult to fill positions
  • Recruitment incentives for teachers who fill positions that are historically more difficult to staff

June 30, 2020 | Cleveland, Texas
School Board Meeting

The Cleveland ISD School Board approved a general pay raise of 1.5% for teachers, nurses, administrators, clerical, paraprofessional, and support staff.  Bus drivers received a $2 per hour general pay increase.  This general pay raise is in addition to the retention stipend that was approved earlier this summer.   Salary Tables will be updated shortly reflecting this general pay raise.
