Cleveland ISD Education Foundation

The Cleveland ISD Education Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides a possibility for businesses, community members and alumni to enhance the education process. People from all sectors of the community are invited to become involved in the support and improvement of education for our future leaders.

MISSION

Cleveland ISD Education Foundation is to inspire, enhance, and promote educational excellence, academic opportunities, and create prospect beyond the scope of the Cleveland school system by generating financial resources from private funds to provide support for educational programs and resources. It takes a combination of people and businesses willing to lend the helping hand of time, money, and energy to make an endeavor like this, a success.

 WHO WE ARE

We raise money from community members, local businesses, corporations, current CISD employees and Alumnus. With the moneys raised, it is to fund initiatives that fall outside the school districts normal operating budget.

Cleveland ISD educates over 11,800 students each year and is one of the fastest growing districts in Texas. Our education foundation knows the difference between a good education and a great one. We hope we can help our teachers spark a lifelong passion to their students!

However, we cannot do it without you!! Our tax base in Cleveland ISD is over 80% residential with very little industrial base, putting our campuses at a disadvantage in terms of local tax revenue. For us to support our district and teachers, we need your support and donations.

OUR INITIATIVES

When you partner with us you will play a substantial role in:

·         Advancing the mission and vision of the Cleveland Independent School District.

·         Continuing programs and projects that have shown impact on student achievement.

·         Designating funds for innovation and research-based experimentation in classrooms.

·         Provide opportunity for support to teachers through a tax-deductible donation.

·         Donating is investing! Your donation will support the dreams of our educators!

HOW TO SUPPORT

The Education Foundation Honorary Donation is a wide range of supporters which funds many different initiatives via teacher grants. You can donate to the Education Foundation with one annual gift that supports all grants.  The Foundation’s endowment is in a beginning phase. Our mission is to inspire and encourage our community, parents, stakeholders, businesses and Alumni to invest with the intention to grow the CISD Education Foundation endowment. Having a strong endowment means Cleveland ISD educators and students can be assured to receive the financial support they deserve, year after year, regardless of the events in our world. The Foundation Board of Directors are seeking support to help build this endowment and inspire all of our future!
