Who is your Counselor? I am Joy Love and I believe I have the best job in the world! My job is to advocate for students at Cleveland Middle School. This position allows me to work with students and help them develop their unique talents. I have worked in education for 11 years. In addition to counseling, I have taught in general education settings. During this time I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions, including Klein, Humble and North Forest School Districts. I believe that experience strengthened my ability to work effectively with adolescents and their families. I am a Texas native and a graduate of Humble High School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge, LA (GO JAGS!), and earned my Master’s in counseling from Prairie View and A & M University. I want to keep you informed of parenting classes, counseling opportunities, great books to read, test-taking tips, study tips, homework help, student enrichment opportunities, workshops offered in the area and all sorts of information that we receive all throughout the year.
