"EDUCATION IS ESSENTIAL" and my job at Northside Elementary is to ensure that your child is at school everyday.  It is important that they attend school everyday to obtain an appropriate education. 

Please be advised if your child has 3 unexcused absences in a four week period or 10 unexcused absences in a six month period, you and your child will be referred to Precinct 6, Liberty Co. Truancy Court for a truancy hearing.

Any absences other than the following will be considered unexcused by the court.

Every minute of the day is important for your child and his/her teacher.

Please check your child out early only for emergencies or doctor appointments.
