Fall 2011: Technology Applications Syllabus  

Course:

Technology Applications

Supplies Needed:

Flash Drive: any GB will work (leave in class)

Spiral Notebook (leave in class)

Hand sanitizer (pump top)

*Please Note: some students will not bring their supplies, for whatever reason, so any students who choose to bring extra for their fellow peers will be rewarded with extra 100’s in the grade book for each extra supply brought.  Limit 3 per student.*

Course Topics Covered:

For the first semester of this year, you will be in Technology Applications which will cover all of the following, and possibly more:

-         Speed typing

-         Basic computer software and hardware

-         Microsoft Office 2010 including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-         Video Editing with Windows Live Movie Maker

-         Photo Editing

-         Distance education portals

-         Online editing software for group projects

-         Blogging

-         Website Creation

-         Desktop publishing (flyers, brochures, etc.)

-         And more…

I am very excited to start a brand new year with brand new students!  This class is beneficial, educational, and best of all it is FUN!  If we work together, this can be an awesome year!!
